FAQs

Do we have to move out while the works are being done?

Safety is paramount for the home owner and the tradespeople on site. We judge whether you need to move out temporarily by the nature of the works, it depends on which areas of the house are being renovated and altered. Our staff will discuss this with you prior to the job commencing.

What about Insurance?

We have the necessary Licences, Registrations and Public Liability insurances required to complete the works. It is advised that you contact your insurance company to notify them of the works being undertaken.

Do we need plans prior to consultation?

No, you don’t need any plans prior to the first consultation. At this meeting we will discuss the changes you require and the best options available to you. We aim to come up with a plan that realistically suits your requirements and budget.

Tell me about RA Caffry Builders

We pride ourselves on our reputation for quality work and have been consistently building, extending and renovating in the Gippsland area and beyond for over 30 years.

We have a highly skilled team of tradespeople and apprentices as well as a network of reputable associated trades required to ensure your job is completed to the highest standard.

Our Managing Director Russell Caffry started his Carpentry apprenticeship back in 1982 and from that moment on he proceeded to amass many apprenticeship awards for his quality workmanship, trade knowledge and skill. This high level of trade knowledge and skill is found in all our jobs, resulting in satisfied clients who gladly recommend us to others.

We are based in Traralgon Victoria and service the Gippsland area, but do travel further for jobs as required.

Can you help with my colour choices?

Colour is very personal, there are many styles and trends which can change quickly.

In order to ensure that our clients get exactly the look they are after and can view a large range of different styles and designs, we direct our clients to selected local suppliers who are experts in their field and up to date with the latest trends and colours.

How much will my extension cost, can you give me a m2 price?

Every extension is different, the price will depend on the quality of fittings you prefer in your home, the types of materials used, how big the extension is, whether it is a single storey or second storey extension and what is being demolished, etc., If you are not sure if your requirements will suit your budget, the best thing to do is to organise a free on site meeting and no obligation quotation by Contacting Us
